DC Black Film Fest 2023 #EXCLUSIVE: Special Guest Gregory Alan Williams talks REUNION

Typically, when attending film festivals, there are scores of various genres as well as themes tackled across a collection of film festival selections. However, when film festivals decide to hone on a specific niche, the results can be far more intriguing. Enter the DC Black Film Festival. Founded by film critic, Kevin Sampson, back in 2016 (with the 1st festival commencing in 2017), the festival is dedicated to exhibiting quality film, web series and television content by and about people of African descent. With that in mind, I sat down with one of the event's Special Guest, Gregory Alan Williams to reflect on the film fest's mission as well as his film, REUNION, which was a selection at this year's show.
