Following the strong response of Hobbs & Shaw's entertaining "frenemy" relationship in FATE OF THE FURIOUS, Universal decided to develop a side franchise with the two characters - portrayed by Dwayne Johnson & Jason Statham, respectfully. Sprinkled with the same ridiculous over the top action expected from a film in the FAST & FURIOUS Universe, the two find themselves going up against a "suped up" (it will make sense when you the trailer below) enemy in form of Idris Elba.
