C2E2 Coming Sooner For 2019 Edition

That's right! One of the premiere pop culture events on the East Coast is coming to fans sooner rather than later. Today, ReedPop, the world's leading producer of pop culture events, announced that it will be starting the party for its 2019 Edition of C2E2 a week earlier!

Therefore instead of getting the Chicago event at the end of March, it will commence the weekend of March 22nd. The upcoming event marks the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo’s historic 10th anniversary and this year’s convention will still have the amazing lineup and programming that fans have come to expect. In fact, Mike Armstrong, had the following to say about the date change...

“There are multiple considerations when changing the dates on a convention of this size. Shifting one week earlier allows C2E2 to spread out over more McCormick Place, makes hotel rooms more readily available for fans and puts us in a better position to get big name talent and exhibitors that our fans want to see. Plus with Star Wars Celebration happening just a few weeks later, we ultimately felt moving C2E2 up a week would be best for the city of Chicago and allow us to put on the biggest and best event we could for our 10th anniversary.”

C2E2 2019 commences March 22-24.
