2018 Awesome Con EXCLUSIVE: Comics Icon Jim Starlin Comments on Thanos In Comics vs. Thanos In INFIN

As INFINITY WAR continues to take the world by storm - with its staggering assembly of franchise superhero characters and its much-hyped villain - many would likely credit the likes of Marvel Studios (or even Disney, who owns the studio) for its success. However, if one looks more closely they'll see that their fascination with these heroes and villains can be traced back to their comic creators. In the case of Thanos, for example, this creator would be none other than comic artist & writer, Jim Starlin.

With a career in comics that has spanded more than 30 years, Mr. Starlin has been the mind behind many of the characters that fans of the Marvel films have come to enjoy on the big screen. Don't believe me? Well, aside from the Mad Titan mentioned above, Starlin also created the characters of Drax The Destroyer and Gamora!

With that said, at Awesome Con, I was afforded the opportunity to chat with the legendary comics creator about Thanos. In our interview, he not only shared his thoughts on the superhero craze that has been happening currently in our culture, but also his feelings on how his villainous creation, Thanos, had been adapted in INFINITY WAR.
