2020 SC Comicon EXCLUSIVE: Special Guest Sanford Greene Talks BITTER ROOT & The Comics Industry

Considering the circumstances of SC Comicon being postponed until July, I took the opportunity to speak with some of its guests - one of them being Mr. Sanford Greene. If the name sounds familiar, Mr. Greene has been working professionally in comic illustration and related industries for nearly 20 years, including working for mainline publishers such as Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, and Image Comics. Recently, he has worked on the hit Marvel series Power Man and Iron Fist as well as covers for Black Panther and Luke Cage. Currently, however, many might recognize him as the co-creator of Bitter Root, a dark fantasy/action ongoing series published by Image Comics and set during the Harlem Renaissance.

In our interview, Greene opens up about his journey into the comics industry, how his days now look like working during "social distancing," and his series, Bitter Root. Check it out below...
