Henry Thomas Cast Dr. Mid-Nite in DC's STARGIRL Series

It would appear that the Stargirl cast is continuing to expand as news comes that one more addition is being added to the already expanding list of superheroes. Previously, it you recall, it was announced that the superhero, Wildcat (seen on the far right side of the comic cover), would be featuring in DC Universe series as a reoccurring character. Now, we can add another hero to the list!

According to Entertainment Weekly, actor Henry Thomas will be joining the series in the role of Dr. Mid-Nite (featured in the background on the JSA cover above). So, I 'm guessing that those of you not adept in the world of comics might be asking who this hero is, and more importantly, what his abilities are. Well, he's a superhero with formidable hand-to hand combat skills who also possesses extraordinary knowledge as a medic. Aside from actor, Brian Stapf (mentioned above as Wildcat), Thomas will join an ensemble that also currently includes s Joel McHale as Golden Age Starman/Sylvester Pemberton and Lou Ferrigno Jr. as Golden Age Hourman.

DC's Stargirl is set to drop sometime in 2019 on DC Universe.
