FALLOUT Director Likely Helmer of Next Two MISSION IMPOSSIBLE Installments

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE FALLOUT banked more than 700 million at the worldwide box office last year - a total which bested the previous installment's total by more than 100 million. Unsurprisingly, it would appear that the director of the franchise's latest entry has been hired to direct additional installments -in fact, at least two more, apparently.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, comes word that director Christopher McQuarrie is set to return to direct the next two sequels in the popular franchise. The two new untitled MISSION IMPOSSIBLE sequels will mark Christopher McQuarrie's third & fourth turns as director of a film in the franchise - with ROGUE NATION & FALLOUT, respectively, being his first and second.
