2017 Virginia Film Fest EXCLUSIVE: Special Guest Colette Burson

Though the University of Virginia has played host to the prestigious Virginia Film Festival for a great of years (see photo above), it has been equally impressive in the artists that its produced. One such example would be accomplished screenwriter/ director, Colette Burson, who was a special guest this year's to promote her film, PERMANENT. Written & directed by the UVA alum, its based on her experience while attending E.B. Stanley Middle School in Virginia. In our interview, she reflects on being back at her alma mater and also sheds light on what it means to a writer/director in the landscape of today film industry. Check it out below...
